PRA-001: Managing Risks in Primavera Risk Analysis

2 DAYS

This 2-day course provides hands-on training for Primavera’s Risk Analysis solution (formerly known as PertMaster). Participants will gain background knowledge in the concepts of risk management. The course leads students through hands-on workshops with examples of specific risk modelling techniques. Participants will understand how uncertainty and risk events (threats and opportunities) can impact on project objectives so that strategies for dealing with them can be tested, leading to the setting of project budgets and contingencies, realistic timescales and stakeholder expectations.

The course supports widespread professional methodologies, information sources and management approaches (OGC; PRINCE2; Managing Successful Programmes; Management of Risk. Association of Project Management: APM Body of Knowledge; Risk Management Specific Interest Group; PRAM Guide: Project Management Institute PM Body of Knowledge; ISO 31000)

PREREQUISITE
Knowledge of Windows™ and basic concepts of planning/scheduling

TRAINER PROFILE
The course will be delivered by an instructor with decades of experience in Risk Management  utilising Primavera PRA.
