Job Summary
Seeking a Planning Engineer for a large-scale engineering and construction project in the pharmaceutical sector. Responsible for developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely project deliver.
We are currently looking for Planning Engineer's inDublinor surrounding areas willing to commute.
Responsibilities
The Planning Engineer in this role is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules for a large-scale engineering and construction project in the pharmaceutical sector. They monitor project progress, analyse data, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely project deliver.
Develop and maintain project schedules, considering engineering and construction requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to align planning efforts with project goals
Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks
Implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to schedules
Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders
Utilise project management tools to track progress and analyse data
Continuously improve planning processes and implement best practices for effective scheduling
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal Planning Engineer candidate has a strong background in engineering and construction, with pharmaceutical sector experience. They excel in developing schedules, monitoring progress, and implementing corrective actions. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with proficiency in project management tools.
3-5 years of project planning and scheduling experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector or similar projects
Effective collaborator, fostering a positive team environment
Industry Standards: In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical project planning and scheduling standards
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in project management tools for data analysis and reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying project plans and requirements
Committed to professional development, staying updated on industry trends and best practices
Must have EU/UK citizenship or hold a valid stamp 4 working visa
Qualifications or Certifications Needed:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Advanced degrees or project management certifications preferred
